The Vinland FCE met at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Vinland United Methodist Church, 1724 N. 692 Road, Baldwin City. Paula Johnson presented the lesson, “Someone in the USA Court(ing) the Judicial System.” Kathy Davids was hostess.
The FCE fall festival will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday with a noon potluck luncheon at the Dreher Family Building at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper. The program will be a comedy, “The Vintage Players,” starring the Lawrence Community Theatre’s Vintage Players.
