Trash audit OK’d
Commissioners unanimously agreed to move ahead with an audit of the city’s trash collection system.
The audit is expected to look at a variety of financial issues with the city’s trash service. Commissioners have said the audit could be the first step in determining whether the city ought to hire a contractor to provide the service rather than using a city department.
The audit is expected to be done by the end of the year.
