Law team competes at international level

Four Kansas University students have qualified to compete in the international finals of the European Law Students’ Association Moot Court Competition in Taipei, Taiwan.

Christina Elmore, Ben Sharp, Carrie Bader and Beau Jackson, all third-year law students, make up the first KU team to represent the university at the world level of the competition.

They advanced to the final round of the North American regional on March 12 in Washington and qualified for the international final. The competition is a simulated hearing in the World Trade Organization dispute settlement system.
