Independence Inc. is now accepting nominations for its Community Access Awards, which recognize people who have advanced the life and integration of the community of people with disabilities.
The award ceremony is set for May 6 at Independence Inc., 2001 Haskell Ave.
An open house is planned from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., and the ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. For more information, contact Meghan Kinley at mkinley@independenceinc.org.
