Justina George scored 27 points, and Maria Parker had 26 points and seven rebounds to lead Haskell’s women over Central Christian.

“It was a game we needed to have,” Haskell coach Phil Homeratha said. “Even though we won, we didn’t play as well as we probably should have. The difference in the game, again, was our pressure defense.”

Kayla Davis added eight points, and Kortney Smith had six assists and four steals for the Indians.

Haskell (11-7) will entertain York (Neb.) at 3 p.m. Saturday.
