Mobile food pantry stop is canceled
The Ballard Community Services mobile food pantry scheduled for today is canceled because a key organizer is ill.
The pantry was scheduled to be at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds. The monthly food pantry will return in January, said Paul Youk, Ballard’s director of human services.
Youk said the organizer has been hospitalized, and other Ballard staff members are busy this week with the Holiday Bureau program.
