Kansas State changes season-ticket system

? Kansas State University has announced changes to the system it uses to determine seating assignments for season-ticket holders.

The university announced Thursday that donors now will receive three points per $100 contributed to the university’s Ahearn Fund, two points for restricted-fund gifts and one point per season ticket purchased, regardless of the sport.

The system also is used to determine ticket distribution for bowl games and tournaments.

Minimum per-seat contributions have not changed.

Chad Weiberg, Kansas State’s associate athletic director for development, says donors who make a minimum initial payment of 25 percent before March 1 and complete the payments by June 15 will keep the same seat and parking location for football and basketball.
