Lisa Larsen, environmental geologist and owner of the Lawrence environmental consulting firm Larsen & Associates Inc., and Paula Schumacher, the company’s director of operations, have completed the training course and earned installer accreditation of geothermal systems through the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association.

With the accreditation, the company will expand into installation of the environmentally and economically beneficial spaceconditioning geo-thermal systems. The training occurred in October and the accreditation became official in November.

Larsen & Associates, 1311 E. 25th St., Suite B, has provided environmental consulting and drilling services throughout the Midwest region since 1992.
