Bank hires new senior vice president

Ken Peirce, veteran community banker, has joined University National Bank as senior vice president. Peirce brings more than 20 years of commercial lending and community banking experience to the UNB team. A native of Hutchinson, Peirce graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in economics, earned distinction from the American Bankers Association National Commercial Lending School and is a member of Leadership Lawrence.

Peirce will be a trusted adviser to business customers and will enhance the strong value-added banking services provided by UNB, according to a news release. The locally owned bank preserves its investment in the community by being well capitalized and supporting local organizations and activities.
