McGrew takes reins of Realtors committee

During the National Association of Realtors’ annual convention this month in Orlando, Fla., Mike McGrew began a one-year term as the Federal Taxation Committee chairman. The committee, made up of both commercial and residential Realtors from across the country, is responsible for working with Congress on real-estate-related tax matters.

McGrew served on the committee for two years, most recently as vice chairman. He is also a member of NAR’s board of directors, and has served previously as the 2003 Region 9 vice president, Risk Management Committee chairman, Legal Action Committee Trustee, on the Presidential Advisory Group on Insurance and the Presidential Advisory Group on Immigration, and several terms on the executive committee.
