2 killed, 3 injured in Kansas City crash

? Police say alcohol and speeding likely contributed to a deadly crash early Sunday in south Kansas City.

Nineteen-year-old Eric Blacknoll of Kansas City, and 17-year-old Marche Semens of Raytown died in the 4 a.m. crash at Bannister Road and Stark Avenue.

Police say a car believed to be traveling at least 80 miles per hour westbound on Bannister struck a car that was turning onto Bannister from Stark.

The speeding car – a silver-gray Acura – went out of control, left the road, overturned and struck both a utility pole and a light pole.

Police say Blacknoll and Semens were passengers in the Acura. The driver and another passenger were injured.

The driver of the other car also was injured.
