Overland Park ? The Lawrence High softball team lost, 7-2, at Shawnee Mission North on Thursday.

The game continued from a previous game that was suspended because of inclement weather. The Indians began Thursday’s game ahead, 2-1, in the top of the fourth inning.

Kristen Bell went 2-for-3 for the Lions, which dropped to 4-16 on the season.

Kacie Welborn picked up the loss for LHS.

Lawrence High will resume softball action next week at sub-state.
