The Douglas County Jail, 3601 E. 25th St., is hosting a blood drive.

The drive will take place on June 27 in the Douglas County Jail’s training room, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Community Blood Center needs to collect at least 580 pints of blood to meet area patients’ needs.
