Lawrence Memorial Hospital has announced future enrollment dates for “Safe Sitter Enhanced,” geared for 11- to 13-year-olds, to teach necessary skills for becoming safe and competent baby sitters. Participants will learn how to prevent accidents, recognize emergencies and steps to take in those situations, including first aid and CPR. Upcoming workshops are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. June 27-28 and July 2-3 in the hospital auditorium, 325 Maine. Cost is $50, which includes a certification card.
