Immediate needs

¢ Meals on Wheels seeks volunteers to serve as drivers and substitute drivers for Lawrence routes. Contact Kim Culliss at 830-8844 for more information.

¢ The Boys and Girls Club needs 60 volunteers to serve as mentors with its afterschool program Priceless Pals. Each mentor will be paired with a child to provide assistance with homework. Volunteers must commit to a minimum of one hour a week for one school year.

¢ Douglas County AIDS Project needs volunteers to provide practical and emotional support to clients through direct service. Duties may include transportation, companionship, light housekeeping, pet-sitting, respite care, yard work and other needs. DCAP also seeks volunteers to assist with various activities at the office.
