¢ Anderson Winner: Chris Anderson fired a par 72 and won the Jayhawk Golf Club weekly tournament Sunday at Alvamar, edging Chad Welter by a stroke. Drew Walters was third with a 76. In net scoring, Pete Whitenight and Robert Ward were low, each with a 71. Jack Schwartz had a 72.

¢ Thunder Takes Third: Lawrence U-12 Thunder finished third in the USSSA State Fastpitch Tournament last weekend in Shawnee.
