Drivers should expect delays, as more work on Interstate 70 in Topeka is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Repairs on the eastbound and westbound bridges near Adams Street and Branner Trafficway in east Topeka are expected to continue until October.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Fourth Street to California Avenue during the project. Crews are scheduled to work from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m weekdays with occasional work on Saturdays.
The repair work will include fixing broken patches of pavement, increasing skid resistance and reducing penetration of de-icing salt.
