It took almost 24 hours for Lawrence’s first baby of 2008 to make an entrance into the world.

Kiowa Joseph Olberding was born at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, said Belinda Rehmer, an LMH spokeswoman.

He is the son of Mandi and Branden Olberding, of Nortonville.
