Norman, Okla. ? Tony Crocker converted a four-point play with 7.3 seconds left, and Oklahoma came away with its second straight miraculous finish to beat Baylor, 92-91 in overtime, Tuesday night and gain crucial positioning for its NCAA Tournament hopes.

Crocker was fouled by Aaron Bruce while making a three-pointer from the left wing and then hit his free throw to put Oklahoma ahead late, and Curtis Jerrells missed a pair of free throws with one second left that could’ve given the Bears the victory.

Hartford, Conn. – Hasheem Thabeet had 16 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocked shots, and Connecticut rallied from a 13-point deficit to extend its winning streak to 10 games.

Craig Austrie had 14 points and Jeff Adrien added 12 points and 11 rebounds for UConn (21-5, 10-3 Big East), which outscored the Blue Demons 23-7 over the last 10:30 of the game.

Bloomington, Ind. – Eric Gordon scored 22 points for Indiana in the Hoosiers’ last game before the completion of the school’s investigation into accusations that coach Kelvin Sampson committed major rules violations.

Athletic director Rick Greenspan, university counsel Dorothy Frapwell and faculty representative Bruce Jaffee were asked to run the investigation and recommend by this Friday what steps the university should take.
