Several city services will be unavailable Saturday as construction crews shut off all electricity at City Hall.

The following services will be unavailable because of the power outage: online registration for Parks and Recreation classes; the utility billing information line; the building inspection hot line; the cancellation line for Parks and Recreation; the city’s cable channel (Channel 25); and all city voice mail. In addition, many of the features on www.lawrenceks.org will be unavailable.

Crews are shutting down the power to City Hall to install an emergency power generator. The services will be restored by Monday, but crews will shut the power down again on Feb. 9, which will shut down the same services.
