Wichita ? A Wichita woman has admitted intentionally beating her roommate’s 19-month-old son to death.

Twenty-five-year-old Heidi Dieball pleaded guilty Friday to second-degree intentional murder and two counts of child abuse.

Dieball told Sedgwick County District Judge Ben Burgess that she beat Andrew Haga twice when left alone with him in January.

She said she then beat him a third time, which led to Andrew’s death.

Dieball pleaded guilty to avoid a first-degree murder charge.

She will face about 19 years in prison when sentenced on October 24th.
