‘The Right Start’ set for May 5

Kansas University’s Small Business Development Center will offer another session of “The Right Start,” the latest in an ongoing seminar series for startups, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. May 5 at the center, 734 Vt., Suite 104.

The free seminar is targeted for people thinking of starting their own businesses. Topics scheduled to be covered include licensing, permits, registration, taxes, accounting, marketing, business plan writing and financing. Individual questions also will be addressed.
