Businesswomen’s group plans Lawrence meeting
The Business & Professional Women of Kansas will conduct an organizational meeting Sept. 20 in Lawrence.
The meeting, set for 6:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt., is being organized with the goal of forming a Lawrence chapter of the group, said Teresa Salb, president of the organization’s Baldwin City chapter.
The Kansas group is a chapter of Business and Professional Women/USA, an organization whose mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information.
