A Douglas County teenager was sentenced to five to 20 years in prison for her involvement in the June slaying of her granduncle. The sentence given Lisa Bigenwalt, 18, was the maximum allowed under Kansas law on the felony charge of aiding and abetting manslaughter. The charges stemmed from the shooting death of Donald L. Hatchell at the home he shared with the Bigenwalt family in North Lawrence.
