A meeting about the future of the Black Jack Battlefield and Nature Park is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Baldwin City Public Library.

Consultants with John Milner Associates will discuss their recommendations for the park, which is east of Baldwin City.

The battlefield is considered by many historians as the site of the first skirmish of what would become the Civil War.
