KU profs honored by Chancellor’s Club

Two Kansas University professors on Friday night were recognized for their work by the Chancellors Club at the group’s annual gala.

Lawrence campus professor Mohamed El-Hodiri was given the Career Teaching Award while Randolph Nudo, director of the medical center’s Landon Center on Aging, will receive the Research Award. Both awards come with $5,000.

An economics professor, El-Hodiri has taught a number of different classes over his 40 years at KU.

Nudo’s work has focused on how brain injuries affect the use of limbs, and how neural repair can affect rehabilitation.
