Pam Biermick, a senior esthetician at Beauty Brands Salon and Spa, Lawrence, has joined Douglas County Connection, a networking organization.

Biermick has been in the beauty business for 30 years, including the past 10 as an esthetician.

The organization promotes member businesses through structured networking by encouraging high-quality and reliable referrals. The group meets at 7 a.m. Wednesdays at First Southern Baptist Church, 4300 W. Sixth St.
