Congressman will speak at meeting

U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore is scheduled to speak at the annual meeting of the Kansas Advocates for Better Care, set for noon to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.

Moore is expected to discuss the latest information about Medicare and Medicaid as it pertains to the long-term care system, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home-based services in Kansas.
