The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and its Leadership Lawrence program announce that applications for the Leadership Lawrence class of 2007-2008 are available.

Application forms are available at the chamber office, 734 Vt., and also may be downloaded at www.lawrencechamber.com. Completed applications are due in the chamber office by 5 p.m. Aug. 10; no applications or referral letters will be accepted after the deadline.

Leadership Lawrence seeks participants with a commitment to develop and practice new leadership skills; enthusiasm and willingness to be involved with the community; and a concern for the future of Lawrence and Douglas County.
