Attorney appointed to Bench-Bar Committee

Attorney Terrence J. Campbell, a partner in the law firm Barber Emerson LC, Lawrence, has been appointed to serve a three-year term on the Bench-Bar Committee for the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.

The committee – whose members are federal judges, government attorneys and private-practice attorneys – is responsible for studying rules of practice and operating procedures of the court, and recommending adoption, amendment, or rescission of appropriate procedural rules. The committee also serves as a liaison among the court, its bar and the public.

Campbell is one of six attorneys in private practice in Kansas to be appointed to the committee. His practice focuses on federal and state commercial, criminal and probate litigation matters.
