People interested in applying for participation in Leadership Lawrence are invited to attend an informational meeting from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday in the auditorium at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.

Application forms are available at the chamber office, 734 Vt., and also may be downloaded from www.lawrencechamber.com. Completed applications are due in the chamber office by 5 p.m. Aug. 10; no applications or referral letters will be accepted after the deadline.

Leadership Lawrence seeks participants with a commitment to develop and practice new leadership skills; enthusiasm and willingness to be involved with the community; and a concern for the future of Lawrence and Douglas County.
