The Lawrence Organization of Substitute Teachers has selected Quail Run School Principal Paulette Strong and Lawrence High Principal Steve Nilhas for this year’s Principal of the Year awards.

The organization of about 50 substitute teachers nominates and votes for principals who are visible in the schools, have good rapport with students and staff, and are welcoming to substitute teachers.

The principals will receive gift certificates and other prizes donated by area businesses.
