Birdseed sale to help benefit audubon society

The Jayhawk Audubon Society is having its first birdseed, feeder and book sale of the bird-feeding season today.

The sale will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lawrence Senior Center, 745 Vt. Seeds include black oil sunflower seeds, Niger thistle and sunflower seed chips, safflower and more.
