¢ USD 464, Tonganoxie schools, will be closing early at 1:30 p.m. today.

¢ The Strategic Education Center is canceling all sessions effective at 2:00 p.m. for the rest of the day.

¢ “Singing For Fun,” a senior citizen singing group, will not meet today. The gathering was scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Kansas University Alumni Center.

¢ Southwest Junior High’s 8th-grade girls basketball game with Kansas City Turner is canceled.

¢ Pelathe District Boy Scout’s Monthly Roundtable has been postponed and will be rescheduled.

¢ Dazzler Christian Dance will not be holding classes this evening.

¢ Deerfield Girl Scout Troop 728 has canceled its caroling trip at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community at 6:30 p.m. today.

¢ Eudora Parks & Rec has canceled first- and second-grade basketball practices at Nottingham, and third- and fourth-grade practices at West Elementary.

¢ All activities and practices have been canceled at Eudora Middle School.

¢ Eudora High School boys’ basketball tournament and Scholars’ Bowl have been canceled. Practices will take place as scheduled.

¢ Because of the winter weather conditions today, basketball games scheduled for this evening at Baldwin Junior High School have been canceled.

¢ Broken Arrow Colony II Music program scheduled for this evening has been postponed. The Broken Arrow after-school tutoring pogram for fourth- through sixth-graders has been canceled.

¢ Cordley’s kindergarten music program for tonight at 7 p.m. has been canceled.

¢ Native American Student Services’ Study-Time Cafe (tutor services for 7th-12th grades) will be canceled tonight due to weather.

¢ The LHS Girls C-team basketball game scheduled for this evening at Olathe Northwest has been canceled. Reschedule information will be announced next week. There will be NO C-Team girls basketball practice this evening.

¢ Due to inclement weather Prairie Park P.E. Night for fourth through sixth grades will be postponed until a later date.

¢ Kennedy’s book fair and potluck dinner scheduled for tonight has been canceled. Both events will be held on Monday Dec. 10.

¢ The Southwest ninth-grade boys’ game at Bishop Ward is being postponed to another date to be determined due to road conditions.

¢ Free State Bowling tryouts for this afternoon have been canceled – they will be held Friday evening, weather permitting.

¢ The Free State Girls’ sophomore basketball home game for tonight has been postponed to Dec. 11 at 6 p.m.

¢ The West Junior High eighth grade girls basketball game at Washburn Rural has been canceled.

¢ LHS Model UN, which was scheduled for 5:15 this evening, has been canceled.

¢ The LHS Scholars’ Bowl competition at Mill Valley High School, scheduled for today, has been postponed.

¢ Both Free State boys’ and girls’ Basketball games scheduled in Bonner Springs have been canceled this evening.

¢ There will be no Speed School at Free State today.

¢ LHS Girls soccer conditioning canceled for Thursday

¢ Lawrence Parks and Recreation and Hoopster basketball practices have been canceled for this evening at all elementary schools.

¢ Bishop Seabury Academy: Afternoon and evening events canceled for today.
