From the Lawrence Daily World for April 29, 1907: “The university summer school, getting more popular every year, will begin shortly after commencement exercises, and there is a long list of outstanding lecturers and teachers. : Even though the tabernacle revival here is closing for good, it now appears there will be a final total of Christian Church converts topping 260 who have confessed faith in Christ. : The Woman’s Social Missionary Union of Lawrence has just concluded a major meeting and the large audiences proclaimed tremendous success for the sessions.”
