¢Ex-Bulldog Honored: Baldwin High product Katie Martin, a senior at Missouri State University, was named Missouri Valley Conference scholar-athlete of the week. Martin leads MSU’s softball team in batting with a .327 average and carries a 3.93 grade point average in medical technology.

Roberts posted the low gross with a two-under-par 70.

John Schmeidler, pastor of Lawrence St. John’s Church, had 10 points, nine rebounds and six assists in the Runnin’ Revs’ 63-49 loss to the Serra All-Stars on Monday night at Topeka Hayden High. Br. Jerry Wintz, pastoral associate at St. John’s, did not score, but had several rebounds. The game was a fundraiser for Kansas seminarians.
