Kansas University will have a volunteer fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 5 in the fourth floor lobby of the Kansas Union.

The event, sponsored by the University Career Center, is an opportunity for students to meet with representatives from local and national volunteer organizations.

Participants include the American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Douglas County, Brandon Woods, Center for Community Outreach and Douglas County AIDS Project. Organizations offering postgraduate opportunities include the Peace Corps, St. Joseph Workers and Vincentian Service Corps-Central.
