Body Boutique is sponsoring a WOW (Women Opening Doors for Women) Run this Saturday in Lawrence to benefit Women’s Transitional Care Services.

Registration deadlines are 7:45 a.m. Saturday for a 5K race, and 8:30 a.m. Saturday for a 1-mile run/walk. Each race begins soon after registration closes.

Both courses start at Body Boutique, 2330 Yale Road, and head into the hilly neighborhood near West Junior High School.

Women’s Transitional Care Services provides safe-shelter, peer counseling, advocacy and other services to survivors of domestic violence in Douglas, Franklin and southern Jefferson counties.
