Rock Chalk Revue selects participants

Rock Chalk Revue, the variety show benefit produced by Kansas University students, has selected five skits for its 58th show scheduled March 8-10 at the Lied Center.

KU students write and produce the annual satirical musical revue as well as fill leadership and fundraising roles.

Winning groups and their skit titles are: “Till Dance Do Us Part,” Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and Beta Theta Pi fraternity; “Set in Stone,” Gamma Phi Beta sorority and Delta Upsilon fraternity; “Phantom of the Library,” Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and Theta Chi fraternity; “Little Prom on the Prairie,” Delta Gamma sorority and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity; and “Love Spell,” Pi Beta Phi sorority and Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.

On Sept. 6, Rock Chalk Revue representatives presented a $30,500 check from 2006 show proceeds to United Way of Douglas County. KU students donated 11,419 volunteer hours through 2006 Rock Chalk Revue to more than 30 Douglas County United Way agencies.
