22-year-old Marine from Liberal is killed
Topeka ? A 22-year-old Marine from Liberal became the 26th Kansan to die in Iraq since the war there started more than three years ago.
The Defense Department identified him as Lance Cpl. Jose S. MarinDominguez Jr. and said he and Lance Cpl. Hatak Yuka Keyu M. Yearby, 21, of Overbrook, Okla., died in combat Sunday in Anbar province.
They were assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, based in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
