KU adjunct professor offers presentation

Wesley Smith, a partner with Stumbo, Hanson & Hendricks LLP in Topeka, presented “10 Big Changes in the Bankruptcy Act” at the Kansas Bar Assn.’s recent annual meeting in Overland Park.

Smith, an adjunct professor of law at Kansas University, teaches commercial law and frequently is a lecturer on bankruptcy and commercial law for continuing education classes.

He is president-elect of the association’s Bankruptcy and Insolvency Section and author of the bankruptcy chapter in the KBA Construction Law Handbook.

Smith focuses on bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
