A team of feed millers from Morocco recently toured eastern Kansas, where they checked out area farms and an ethanol plant in Garnett.
The team's tour was facilitated by the U.S. Grains Council and and accommodated by the Kansas Corn Commission.
The visitors examined GPS-guided spraying equipment at a farm before stopping by the East Kansas Agri Energy LLC ethanol plant, where the grain buyers visited with grain merchandisers. Morocco recently lowered its tariff on distillers grains.
