Leaders from the city’s Utilities Department will conduct a public information meeting tonight for property owners and residents interested in two upcoming sewer projects.

City officials will discuss plans for sewer improvements slated for the area around Sixth and Indiana streets and along 17th Street between Massachusetts and New Hampshire streets. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. today at Central Junior High School, 1400 Mass.

Work on the projects is expected to begin in early February. The work will involve replacing existing sewer lines.
