Landmark National Bank moves into Lawrence
Landmark Bancorp Inc. announced Wednesday that it had closed its $12.875 million acquisition of First Manhattan Bancorp, owner of FirstBank in Lawrence.
The purchase means that FirstBank, at 2710 Iowa, becomes a Landmark National Bank branch.
The acquisition, announced in September, gives Landmark combined assets of $600 million and an entrance into the “high growth market areas” of Lawrence and Junction City, said Patrick Alexander, Landmark president.
