UPS driver honored for safety
Gerald Hisey, a package car driver for UPS in Lawrence, recently was recognized by the company for passing a milestone that took years to reach: driving for 20 years without having an accident.
Hisey, a Valley Falls resident who works out of the UPS center at 331 N.E. Industrial Lane, provides service in the Lawrence area.
Manager Mark Bollig presented Hisey with a 20-year safe driving award during a recent ceremony honoring the achievement.
