ROSSVILLE ? Lawrence High’s wrestling squad went 5-0 on Friday at the Kaw Valley duals.

The Lions defeated Chase County, 51-27; Rossville, 64-18; St. Mary’s 78-6; Onaga, 57-24; and Herington, 65-18.

Individual champions for the Lions were Brandon Goodwin at 103 pounds, Jordey McTaggert at 125, Blake Greenfield at 130, Brian Cain at 145 and Cody Weber at 160.

Taking second were Brandon Brown (135), Tom McTaggert (215) and Jake Lorenzo (285).

Next action for the Lions is Jan. 6 at the Shawnee Mission South tournament.
