KU routs Yale, 7-2, in spring soccer

? Holly Gault exploded for five goals, and Lacey Novak added two in Kansas University’s 7-2 victory over Yale in spring soccer action at Morrison Soccer Stadium.

Gault also assisted on both of Novak’s goals.

“I felt we played much better than our last game against Minnesota,” KU coach Mark Francis said. “Before the game we talked about improving each game and getting better each time and we did that today.”

“Defensively, we did a good job,” Francis said. “I thought we had a good performance all around.”

KU will play the Legends U15 Boys team Wednesday at the KU Sports Complex.
