Parents should keep eye on kid’s vision
The Illinois College of Optometry says that one in four school-age children may have vision problems. What’s worse, these problems may be misinterpreted as laziness, hyperactivity or even learning disabilities.
The college developed this list of vision-deficiency symptoms:

¢ Confuses similar-looking words.
¢ Comprehends the written word poorly.
¢ Writes sloppily.
¢ Fails to recognize the same word in the next sentence.
¢ Complains of eye pain or headaches after reading.
¢ Avoids close work.
¢ Shows attention problems.
