Kansas City, Mo. ? A woman was charged Friday with fatally shooting a Russian man after chasing him on a downtown street.

Sonia M. Galindo, 25, was charged with one count each of first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Alexander Gladkov.

Gladkov, 23, graduated from Central Missouri State University in May with a business degree.

The prosecutor’s office has requested a bond of $250,000 cash.

Police said the couple ran out of the Library Lofts apartments about 8 a.m., with the woman firing at the man. Police said the woman continued shooting after the man went down.

Gladkov was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
