Roger Hill to celebrate 15 years of service
The Roger Hill Volunteer Center will celebrate its 15th anniversary from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
The event will begin with a tree planting at 10:30 a.m. in the front courtyard of the United Way Center for Human Services, 2518 Ridge Court.
Brunch and a reception will follow until 11:30 a.m. in the Doud Room of the United Way Center.
The volunteer center is named for Roger Hill, a former plant manager at Hallmark Cards Inc. He died in 1988. Saturday’s celebration coincides with Make a Difference Day.
